Former Students

Former students: Are you returning to 17cÍøÒ³°æ?

If you have taken classes at 17cÍøÒ³°æ in the past, you may not need to apply for admission (excludes College Credit Plus students).

Eligibility for reenrollment

Former 17cÍøÒ³°æ students wishing to return to the university are eligible for reenrollment if:

  • you have been away from the university for more than one year
  • you have not been dismissed from any 17cÍøÒ³°æ campus
  • you have not attended any other college or university since leaving 17cÍøÒ³°æ

If you have been dismissed from any campus of 17cÍøÒ³°æ, you must apply for reinstatement.

If you have enrolled at any other college or university since leaving 17cÍøÒ³°æ, you must reapply for admission as a transfer student.

If you are a former 17cÍøÒ³°æ student or graduate who has not attended another college or university since you were previously enrolled, you do not need to reapply.   

Applicants who have been convicted of a criminal offense or have charges pending against them must also complete a Personal Explanation Statement.

Reinstatement Process

The reinstatement process must be followed for any former student who has been academically dismissed from any campus of 17cÍøÒ³°æ.

Before reinstatement can be considered, a student who is dismissed should expect to be away from the university for a minimum of 12 consecutive months. (This is not necessarily the college from which the student was dismissed.)
