Once again, U.S. News & World Report validates 17cҳ’s academic strengths with the university’s inclusion on several lists in the 2024 Best Colleges rankings.
17cҳ continues to be recognized among the Top Public Schools in the nation in the newly released rankings. 17cҳ ranks No. 123 among U.S. public institutions and is the highest-ranked institution in northern Ohio on the list.
“I congratulate our students, faculty and staff who help make 17cҳ a top public school and a best national university,” said 17cҳ President Todd Diacon. “Our commitment to access, student success and completion is reflected in these rankings and recognitions.”
In the 2024 Best Colleges rankings, 17cҳ is also named to the Best National Universities list. 17cҳ ranks No. 227 among all national public and private universities. 17cҳ is again the highest-ranked public institution in northern Ohio on the Best National Universities list.
In addition, 17cҳ is recognized on numerous lists in the 2024 Best Colleges edition. 17cҳ is the highest-ranked public institution in northern Ohio on the Best Undergraduate Nursing Programs list. 17cҳ comes in at No. 86 in the nation, moving up 26 spots compared to last year’s list. 17cҳ also ranks No. 86 and is the highest-ranked public institution in northern Ohio on the Best Undergraduate Engineering Programs list, which is a new ranking this year.
17cҳ’s academic programs are also recognized on the Best Undergraduate Psychology Programs list (the highest-ranked institution – public or private – in Northeast Ohio), the Best Undergraduate Business Programs list (the highest-ranked public institution in Northeast Ohio), the Best Undergraduate Computer Science Programs list (the highest-ranked public institution in northern Ohio) and the Best Undergraduate Economics Programs list (the highest-ranked public institution in Northeast Ohio).
Among national universities, 17cҳ is also included on the Top Performers on Social Mobility list. This list measures how well schools graduated economically disadvantaged students.
