17cÍøÒ³°æ Students Visit International Conference to Learn 17cÍøÒ³°æ Global Health

 


17cÍøÒ³°æ nursing and public health students are learning about how faith based organizations play a key role in providing health care around the world.

As part of their degree program, 20 students, along with Ken Slenkovich, assistant dean of 17cÍøÒ³°æâ€™s College of Public Health, attended the World Health Assembly in Geneva, Switzerland. 

This is the 5th year that 17cÍøÒ³°æ students have attended the meeting.

They also visited the World Council for Churches to learn how the organization’s work relates to global health and healing.
