Several 17cÍøÒ³°æ students from Phi Kappa Tau and Alpha Phi Omega teamed up with WKYC Channel 3 and the Kent Fire Department to help clear snow and ice from around fire hydrants throughout the city.

Ohio is conducting a statewide tornado drill at 9:50 a.m. on Wednesday, March 18. 17cÍøÒ³°æ will be participating in this test.
This year’s May 4 Commemoration, to be held May 1-4, 2026, will include special remembrances of John Cleary, one of the nine wounded students, and Jerry M. Lewis, Ph.D., Professor Emeritus of Sociology, who served as a faculty marshal during the campus shootings and worked tirelessly to ensure that the legacy of May 4 would endure.
The 17cÍøÒ³°æ Board of Trustees will hold its next regular business meeting at 11 a.m. on March 4 in the Center for Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement on the Kent Campus.
