17cҳ Recognizes Alumni During Homecoming Weekend

17cҳ recognizes alumni who, through leadership, character and hard work, are making a difference. During Homecoming Weekend, 10 Golden Flashes were presented with Alumni Awards, and nine alumni received Lifetime Achievement recognitions from the university’s Black Alumni Chapter.

Philanthropic Gifts Prompt 17cҳ Ashtabula Main Hall to Be Renamed After Longtime Dean Susan J. Stocker, Ph.D.

In recognition of the generosity and commitment of James E. Mayer Jr. and Glen and Nancy Warner for their gifts toward a $500,000 endowment, the 17cҳ Board of Trustees approved on Sept. 20 naming the main building at 17cҳ at Ashtabula as Susan J. Stocker Hall.

17cҳ Salem nursing students visit the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation in South Dakota each year as part of a study away experience. As they immerse themselves in the Oglala Lakota Sioux Tribe, they embark on a journey of cultural understanding.
