A Lincoln Center display of costume and set designs inspired by Mozart’s "The Magic Flute" was organized in collaboration with the 17cҳ Museum and will soon be on its way to the Kent Campus.

17cҳ Museum Hosts "Millie" Preview, Flapper Lecture
The 17cҳ Museum and School of Theatre and Dance are teaming up to present a unique event celebrating the perennial glamor and allure of the 1920s. This special program on Feb. 17 is presented in conjunction with the museum’s “Flapper Style: 1920s Fashion” exhibit and 17cҳ’s production of “Thoroughly Modern Millie.” The event will include a short preview of “Thoroughly Modern Millie” by members of the cast, followed by a talk by “Flapper Style” curator Sara Hume, Ph.D.

The 17cҳ Museum will present its new exhibit “Flapper Style: Fashions of the 1920s” in the museum’s Broadbent Gallery from Sept. 25, 2015, to Sept. 4, 2016.
