Tatee Sakr's path to success in the fashion world started at 17cÍøÒ³°æ. As a 19-year-old immigrant to the U.S., Sakr chose 17cÍøÒ³°æ because it was close to her new home in Cleveland and had a reputable fashion design program. Now an industry professional, she is giving back as a key faculty member.

Fashion design major Kaleigh McGreal has been sharing her story with 17cÍøÒ³°æ Today through her final two semesters at 17cÍøÒ³°æ in our "Year with a Flash" series. Most recently, as she prepared for graduation, McGreal shared her thoughts about her journey with an inspiring message for other 17cÍøÒ³°æ students.
‘Dazzling Day and Night’ Pairs with Old Hollywood Style as New Exhibits Debut at 17cÍøÒ³°æ
The 17cÍøÒ³°æ Museum celebrated the opening of two new fashion collection exhibits, one of which honors the 17cÍøÒ³°æ School of Fashion’s founders and another the style of Hollywood legend Katharine Hepburn. During the celebration, retiring museum director Sarah Rogers was honored, and incoming director Sarah Spinner Liska, Ph.D., was introduced.
Two Golden Flashes Vie for the Gold in National Pageant Competitions
Alumni Macy Hudson was just named Miss Ohio USA and will compete for Miss USA, while Caitlin Seifert, named Miss Northern Ohio, is competing for a spot the Miss America competition.
IN A FLASH: Welcome Zandra Rhodes!
The famed British designer nicknamed "the Princess of Punk," Dame Zandra Rhodes, will be inducted into the 17cÍøÒ³°æ School of Fashion Hall of Fame on April 27.
