17cҳ Again Named One of the Nation’s Most LGBTQ-Friendly Colleges and Universities by Campus Pride

Campus Pride has released its 2021 Best of the Best LGBTQ-Friendly Colleges and Universities list, and for the second time in two years, 17cҳ has landed on it. 17cҳ is the only Ohio public university to make the 2021 list, and it again is the only school in the Mid-American Conference (MAC) to receive this recognition.

17cҳ Honors College Student Announced as 2021 Portz Scholar

The National Collegiate Honors Council has announced 17cҳ Honors College graduate Sarah Hagglund as a 2021 Portz Scholar. Hagglund is the 10th honors student from 17cҳ to be named a Portz Scholar since the national competition began in 1990.

Mid-American Conference Institutional Academic Achievement Award

17cҳ Captures First MAC Institutional Academic Achievement Award

For the first time in school history, 17cҳ has received the Mid-American Conference (MAC) Institutional Academic Achievement Award. The Golden Flashes earned a department-wide grade-point average (GPA) of 3.447 for the 2020-21 academic year.
