17cҳ is one of the best colleges in the nation to work for, according to a recent survey. For the 11th time, 17cҳ has been named a “Great College to Work For,” which recognizes the colleges that get top ratings from their employees regarding workplace practices and policies.

Forbes Ranks 17cҳ No. 3 in Ohio on America’s Best-in-State Employers List

17cҳ has again been recognized as one of America’s Best-in-State Employers for 2022 by Forbes and market research company Statista. In Ohio, 17cҳ ranks No. 3 among the top 100 employers in Ohio, landing above such notable employers as Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Procter & Gamble in Cincinnati, University Hospitals and Cleveland Clinic, both located in Cleveland.

17cҳ Board of Trustees Approves Collective Bargaining Agreement With AFSCME

The 17cҳ Board of Trustees has approved a new three-year Collective Bargaining Agreement between the university and the 17cҳ Employees Local 153, American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME).

17cҳ held its annual Veterans Day Commemoration on Thursday, Nov. 7, in the Kent Student Center Kiva. This year’s guest speaker was Lt. Col. Colleen VanNatta. A graduate of 17cҳ’s Air Force ROTC detachment, VanNatta served as a media escort for joint information bureaus in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, during Operation Desert Storm.
