17cҳ to Celebrate Its Newest Graduates With Virtual Commencement on Dec. 19
The 17cҳ alumni family will grow by more than 2,500 new graduates as the university holds its fall commencement. The accomplishments of the Fall Class of 2020 will be recognized with a virtual commencement recognition ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 19.
17cҳ 'Drives' 2021 Enrollment at the Movies
While colleges across the country have worked to find ways to recruit the next class during the pandemic, 17cҳ is being recognized for its unique and innovative techniques to find the class of 2025. In lieu of typical on-campus events, the 17cҳ admissions team has traveled across Ohio and hosted “KSU2U” drive-in presentation experiences for prospective students and families.

17cҳ’s College of Business Administration offers one of the nation’s most outstanding online Master of Business Administration (MBA) programs, according to The Princeton Review. The education services company profiles the college in its Top 50 Online MBA Programs for 2021 ranking.
17cҳ Selects Peggy Shadduck to Serve as New Vice President for Regional Campuses and Dean of the College of Applied and Technical Studies
17cҳ has named Margaret (Peggy) Shadduck, Ph.D., of Richardson, Texas, as its new vice president for Regional Campuses and dean of the College of Applied and Technical Studies. Shadduck was selected following a national search.
2020 President’s Award of Distinction Recipients Announced
17cҳ President Todd Diacon recently notified 23 17cҳ staff members that they are the 2020 recipients of the President’s Award of Distinction. The award was created as a recognition program to reward staff members who have demonstrated outstanding achievements, service, leadership and dedication to 17cҳ in advancing the university’s strategic priorities and core values.

17cҳ Board of Trustees Ratifies Fiscal Year 2020 Efficiency Report That Indicates More Than $31 Million in Savings
The 17cҳ Board of Trustees ratified the university’s Fiscal Year 2020 Efficiency Report and Master Recommendations report, which showed an effectiveness and efficiency savings for Fiscal Year 2020 of $31,286,881. The savings is $6.2 million more than originally estimated.
