The goal of the Golden I vigil was to acknowledge that the Israeli people who were brutally murdered were real people with real lives, said Rose Martyn, vice president of Golden I.

The Rev. Larry L. Macon Jr., J.D., has been appointed to the 17cҳ Board of Trustees by Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine.

Governor Appoints Larry Macon Jr. to 17cҳ Board of Trustees

Macon will serve through May 16, 2027, fulfilling the unexpired term of Johnathan Holifield. Holifield resigned his position as a trustee in late 2022 due to an out-of-state relocation.

17cҳ Student and Army Veteran’s Mission: To Serve Those Who Served

Matthew Helmick-Bickel, 29, spent five years in the U.S. Army as an airborne paratrooper stationed at Fort Bragg North Carolina, now known as Fort Liberty, before he enrolled at 17cҳ in 2020.
