The family of Astrid N. Sambolin Morales, Ph.D., an assistant professor at 17cҳ, is dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Fiona in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico. They have been without electricity since the storm hit Sunday Sept. 18, 2022.

17cҳ Board of Trustees Welcomes Class of 2026, Approves Pizzuti Park Naming

The 17cҳ Board of Trustees welcomed the Class of 2026 at the Board’s regular quarterly meeting held Sept. 21 at the 17cҳ Airport. 17cҳ’s freshman class began classes on the Kent Campus nearly 7% larger than the previous year with 4,251 students – the eighth largest incoming class in the university’s 112-year history.

17cҳ Is the Place to Be! First-Year Student Numbers Return to Pre-Pandemic Levels

17cҳ’s Class of 2026 has arrived on the Kent Campus in strong numbers – 4,251 to be exact – an increase of nearly 7% over the previous year, the largest class since before the pandemic and the eighth largest incoming class in the university’s 112-year history.
